Charles Kelly - Artist and Framer
Charles Kelly is a self taught Artist whose work encompasses all mediums . Born in Barrhead in 1942, he now lives in the conservation village of Symington south of Kilmarnock. His work is on exhibition throughout the year amidst the delightful old world charm of the local Wheatsheaf Inn, a perfect setting for his wild life paintings and scenes of the surrounding Ayrshire and Scottish countryside.
In 1992, ex - Beirut hostage Tom Sutherland was presented with an 'Immortal Memory' by British Aerospace to commemorate his love of the 'Bard '

Charles is one of Ayrshire's leading artists. He has had successful one man exhibitions in many locations in England and Scotland, including Crosshouse and Ayr Hospital and The Tam O'Shanter Experience. Charles is also a member of the Guild of Aviation Artists.

Charles' latest signed limited edition print of Royal Troon, Ailsa Course Turnberry and The Immortal Memory were displayed in London by Ayrshire and Arran Tourist Board to promote "Burns' Country" and the West of Scotland.
His work is on permanent display in the Greenan Gallery.
