Imperial Cancer is dedicated to the understanding, prevention and treatment of all forms of cancer.
Its scientists and doctors are at the forefront of the worldwide effort to defeat the disease.
The charity relies overwhelmingly on voluntary funding to carry out its vital work.

The charity spends £53 million a year in its vital research programme.
It employs about 1,000 doctors, scientists and technicians at its laboratories and units in hospitals and universities around the country.

Imperial Cancer is always on the look-out for good quality second hand clothing and bric-a-brac to sell in its shops. More than 15,000 volunteers help out in the charity's shops nationwide but more volunteers are always needed. Anyone over the age of 16 with a few hours to spare each week can volunteer.
