David George spent his early years in Prestwick and seeks old friends. He writes:
"I was raised in Prestwick from 1948 to 1960 when I came to America.
I went to Glenburn school and then Prestwick High.
I lived at 24 Alvord Ave, next to Aggie McGonigal. She had a little store on the corner.
I was in the Lifeboys and then the BB's
From 1955 to 1960, I served an apprenticeship under Harry Wood the painter on Main Street, which I will be ever grateful for.
I have been back a couple of times. Not near often enough.
The last time was about 3 years ago when my Mother passed away.
I plan on coming back within in the next year.
If anybody remembers me and would like to contact me that would be just great.
